All in Together: Creating a place where young and old thrive
13/06/18

This report from across the pond examines the growth in shared sites that promote intergenerational activity and bonding.
This
style of living varies by establishment, from seniors and college
students sharing accommodation to preschools attached to retirement
communities
Conducted as part of a study of 105 shared sites by Ohio State
University together with United Generations, and supported by The Eisner
Foundation, two-thirds of respondents believed that the aim of these
sites “is to promote positive intergenerational relationships, improve
attitudes toward elders and youth and support the health and development
of participants.”
