We are pleased to announce that the new edition of the International Journal of Child, Youth and Family Studies, Vol. 9, No2 (2018)
is now available. The International Journal of Child, Youth and Family
Studies (IJCYFS) is a “peer reviewed, open access, interdisciplinary,
cross-national journal” which is committed in to the quality and field
research in the of youth welfare and to related community services. This
Special issue is based on the result of the panel “Evaluation, Research, and Challenges in Residential, Foster, and Family Care” held during the FICE Vienna Congress 2016. The Guest editors of this issue were James P. Anglin, Canada, Silke B. Gahleitner, Germany and Emmanuel Grupper, Israel.

The Residential Forum is to promote the achievement of high standards of care and support for children and adults living in residential care and nursing homes, supported housing, residential schools and colleges, hospices and hostels. It contributes to improving the quality of service to the public. Members of the Forum are people of standing and experience drawn from the public, private and voluntary sectors, as well as some who can speak for service users and carers.
